This girl tends to wear a smile no matter how she truly feels. When she talks, her voice can range from bubbly laughter, a sultry laugh, to formal and elegant speech that is equally cold: all depending on her mood. But this is only the case if she knows a person very well. If she doesn't, she'll come across as politely distant or dryly sarcastic depending on her first impression. Her smile tends to be quite wry around people or fairly neutral, liking to keep her thoughts and emotions to herself.Masami has golden brown eyes that have dark bags under them due to lack of sleep and a pale complexion due to lack of being in the sun. Her round baby face has no blemishes because she takes caution in her hygiene but nothing else truly. She holds a curvaceous figure that is slightly more chubby than she would prefer amd is somewhat big boned. No matter how much she tries to lose weight, she tends to retain the same figure for months. Also, she has soft messy pink curls which are shoulder length. Standing a solid five feet two, Masami tends to wear her Seiyo school uniform during school days only, adding only a few personal flairs to her attire aside from magenta stylish horn rimmed glasses; though, during her free time, she wears eye contacts. For casual wear, she wears a ruffled cherry blossom pink blouse with a pair of jeans, striped blue and purple socks and dark indigo flats. For formal wear, she wears a Tyrian purple dress with a V neck, no sleeves, and roses sewn on it with matching flats. If she wears a kimono, it'd be simple and light pink with a darker fuchsia floral design. Either way, she always wears a silver chain bracelet with a oval crystal glittering the hues of the rainbow. TSUTOMU has dark purple eyes and hair tied up in a bun. She wears a very light lavender lab coat with a white turtleneck with a dark indigo star on it with an indigo pencil skirt while also wearing matching flats. Like Masami, she wears dark indigo horn rimmed glasses. Her egg is white with a violet shooting star in the middle. Similar stars decorate the space around it in increasingly lighter shades but with the sane color for their outlines. HANA has sparkling turquoise eyes and hair in the hime cut design. She wears a white kimono with a teal rose floral pattern and dark aqua sandals. This Shugo also carries a matching fan and lantern in each of her hands. Her obi is made out of turquoise silk, and she wears makeup to accentuate her appearance. Her egg is white with a teal rose in the middle, surrounded by many scattered petals of the same hue. Each petal has a soft aqua glow around it. ETSUKO has vivid ruby eyes with her hairs in bouncy pink ringlets. Etsuko's pink hair is less curly than Masami's, wavy and held back with a glittering red headband. She wears a simple collared white shirt with a red tie and red pants. For shoes, she has white sneakers with red laces. Etsuko is frequently in her egg, but out of it, you're more likely to find her with a peaceful smile on. Her egg is exactly like a stereotypical egg that people have, except the heart and the wings are red, surrounded by feathers that glow a soft scarlet. ► PERSONALITY MASAMI is a polite young lady who is quite astute but can be very clumsy and foolish when she lets down her guard. While she smiles a lot, she seldom shows a lot of emotion and does not allow friendships or any kind of social interaction to dominate het school life. But it's not like she is easily dedicated to many things at all. She's not. Masami is lazy.She is the girl who drifts from place to place with only a vague sense of direction. But her goals can be very real if she puts her mind to it. Creative enough to find solutions for everything (but her laziness)that is in her way, Masami appears to be rather studious, concerned with school work and reading and writing for leisure. However, behind that neutral mask lies a girl filled with a never ending hurricane of emotions and desires. Also, since when did she do any homework? The problem is, she can't dedicate herself to what she wants. Too lethargic to do what she wants or even needs, she exhausts herself with excessive worrying and giving up. Masami is so lazy she procrastinates as much as she breathes and she can voluntarily send herself into a comatose state. Her IQ is not high enough to warrant her a genius, but Masami is actually quite intelligent and she loves obtaining and sharing information and knowledge. This leads students to rely on her at school for help--which she gladly obliges to give-- and her parents to be annoyed at a girl who constantly pontificates whenever she interjects. Beauty, grace, and the fine things in life are well enjoyed by Masami despite her scholarly disposition. She is compassionate and loving and maternal. Even though she can be fairly self indulgent (especially for sleep, money, and tasty food) and clingy, Masami is as sweet as a red bean bun and thinks of others so much she can easily forget her wants and needs so she can do stuff for other people. Compelled to help others, she had to master a basic amount of social skills and knows to how to communicate her concerns, good will, and ideas. However, she can't finish anything she had started. Masami, despite her ill success in starting relationships, knows about love and other people's feelings to an exceptional level, being extremely intuitive and arguably wise for her age in some aspects. On the other hand, because her emotional radar is so sensitive, Masami can be overly easy to hurt and her mood swings only tend to make things worse. She finds it hard to make true close friends and can be very afraid to do so, but this young Joker longs to find beauty and femininity and grace within herself, to prove she is a normal girl who is worth much more than the money she makes or the grade she gets due to her mother often berating her and only praising her for academic excellence. Her mother's actions may have caused a little grudge to sprout but Masami understands the importance of hard work, diligence, and dedication more than ever after falling into her worst despaired slump yet. Then, three eggs were born. TSUTOMU is a very organized, diligent and hardworking Shugo who gives her all at everything. She can be patient when working with others to some degree, except when they distract her. Tsutomu can be very absent minded at times, deep in thought, and can appear to not really listen at times. Also, she is very serious to the point where she can't take a single joke or understand sarcasm. When annoyed, she sometimes curses in Greek. HANA is a very elegant and refined character who loves people and is very generous and kind to just anyone--as long as they have manners. If they don't, she will nag them on and on and on and on! She can be a perfectionist and has a keen eye for details. Hana loves flowers and she loves finding out about the potential of other people. While being very nurturing and gentle like a mother or gardener, she can also be a bit vain and concerned with appearances, too. ETSUKO is a carefree spirit who doesn't get all roughed up over nothing. She's sensible and can see the big picture but she's oblivious to many things and can't learn what she doesn't want to learn. Etsuko can be a bit dense at times but she remains composure for the most part, unless if you call her stupid. Etsuko isn't too smart but she's no idiot. If you call her that, she'll passive-aggressively lay assaults onto you. Shugo Charas ◄ ► CHANGE In TSUTOMU'S character change, Masami's egg shaped jewel takes on a different design, becoming as dark violet as an amethyst and in the form of a five point star. Masami becomes patient and eager and encouraging, willing to do her job as efficiently and thoroughly as possible. On the other hand, she can become so thoughtful and focused on what she is doing, she becomes inattentive or even snappy when one distracts her. This character change gives Masami heightened ingenuity, perception and a penchant for seeking out opportunities. In HANA'S character change, Masami's egg shaped jewel changes into a sparkling turquoise rose blossom head. She becomes much more open about her feelings that she hides behind a thin smile and she also turns extroverted, showing interest in more things than usual. Unfortunately, she also becomes nit picky, stubborn, and a perfectionist who won't stand impolite manners despite who she is dealing with. Hana's character change allows Masami to earn room for growth and use it. With this character change, she is able to sense out possibilities, dead ends, and the methods to make them realities. In ETSUKO'S character change, Masami's egg shaped jewel morphs into a sparkling crimson red heart one. Her disposition becomes graceful and complacent with her available resources and whatever forms of support she has. While she holds what she thinks is the most balanced viewpoint possibe, people can see Masami as weak and indecisive and unwilling to take action. However, in this character change, she holds full confidence in whatever actions she takes, as long as she thinks it over clearly. If she doesn't, her success rate drops carefully, and no matter what happens, Masami faces challenges with an almost too calm composure no matter how stupid her decisions are. ► TRANS Unlock my Heart: The Vision of Today: TSUTOMU'S character transformation surprisingly has a much more interesting attire than the Shugo herself. Masami finds herself wearing a dark indigo silk chiton with a golden yarn that she wraps around her stomach and bosom. Her hair is done up elaborating in a seven layered braid covered by a pale lavender headdress. The headdress and the chiton have golden orbs bedazzled onto them. She wears golden sandals and holds a golden staff with a purple star jewel on top that can transform into a sword when using her special move with the key and lock. Available moves that can be used are Enlightening Ariadne and Oracle Slash.Unlock my Heart: The Hope of Yesterday: HANA'S character transformation changes the Joker's appearance completely. Masami's hair is straightened out and is put in a bun concealed with cloth, with silver chopsticks holding it together. She has makeup on and two locks of her hair bound with silver hair cuffs. She wears a dark teal kimono with a black furisode on top with roses the color of her kimono. She has silver sandals in this outfit, and carries a lantern and a fan likewise Hana. Moves that can be used once unlocked are Paralyzing Perfume and Rosebud Bomb. Unlock my Heart: The Path of Tomorrow ETSUKO'S character transformation is sort of casual. Masami carries a bracelet similar to her regular one, except it's entirely made of rubies and one red heart jewel that can be used for her moves. Her big bouncy dusk rose curls are wilder than ever and sorted out in pigtails. She wears a white top hat on top that has a shiny red ribbon on it as well as a tiny heart tattoo on her cheek. Otherwise, she has a white tuxedo and dress pants with a red ribbon and a pink shirt underneath. Moves she can use once they are unlocked are Core Restore and Soul Shield. ► ABILITIES ► TSUTOMU Super Driver - change - Masami gets a boost of ingenuity and diligence as she gains the insight and willpower to fulfill her objectives in the most efficient way. She becomes hyper and ultra-focused. This lasts three posts but can be easily thwarted by any distractions. Enlightening Ariadne - trans - Masami fires beams of light at X-eggs/charas and purifies them. One post needed to charge the attack. If Masami is distracted after that post, she cannot successfully pull off an attack. With this move, she must stay in place. Oracle's Slash - trans - (with lock only) With the lock, Masami is capable of using a sword with a golden hilt adorned by a star shaped amethyst to slice through X-eggs and X-charas and purify them. Using this move takes a considerable amount of energy. Should the battle continue for a long amount of time, there will be a five post cool down. [LOCKED] ► HANA Spring Bloom - change - Masami is able to sense the potential of certain outcomes and can envision several scenarios of which she can use to reach those outcomes. Also, it can be used to display a path to a certain location of which she wishes to reach.[LOCKED] Paralyzing Perfume - trans - Masami uses her fan to shower the enemy with a spray of stun perfume that is cloyingly sweet. The stun lasts for three posts. However, she and her allies can also be affected just as easily as her opponents, and there is a probability that the attack may miss, especially when she's just learning to use it.[LOCKED] Rosebud Bomb - trans - Masami tosses her lantern at a target or at an area with several targets in range. The lantern blows up in a powder of aqua smoke and she is able to create a smokescreen that can allow escape when she cannot win a fight. There is a high chance of collateral damage and it has a five post cool down. Also, this move takes up a lot of energy.[LOCKED] ► ETSUKO Happy Heart - change - Not much really. Masami becomes very confident and is able to maintain calm, so calm that she won't flinch, even at a gunshot. This move lasts three posts, but she can only do this when she herself is in a peaceful state of mind to begin with. [LOCKED] Soul Shield - trans - Masami can cast a ruby red force field but its range is strictly limited to five meters. The force field may last the entire battle but whoever it protects cannot attack because it will only serve to bounce their attacks back at them. Luckily, the same thing happens to enemies. [LOCKED] Core Restore - trans - Masami uses her heart jewel to cast a healing spell on one target of her choice. She can only heal one person at a time, and she can use it three times per transformation should she have the time to.[LOCKED] The Past ◄ ► HISTORY Masami Aichi is the grandchild of Amu Hinamori and Tadase Hotori and was born in the afternoon of July 6th to the parents Rin Hotori-Aichi and Hisao Aichi.the events that lead to her birth Rin was the former Joker chair, but the woman preferred to leave those days behind her when she attended college, having already her dreams come true. Afterwards, Rin came to appreciate them and never forget them, but those close to her wondered if those characters meant more to her than anyone else. Although Rin always spaced out, she spaced out even more, especially after the birth of her daughter, because Masami was born on the same day her Guardian characters stopped appearing visually, but they always were in Rin's heart. Deep down, Rin Hotori was sure that it was because of her Guardian characters that she was able to reach her ideal job as an artist. Rin definitely never forgot them at least, but she did run into her fair share of trouble. But like always, that's what she managed to overcome with the help of her Guardians, friends and other people she cared about. She owed them everything, but when she first attended college, Rin struggled to go with the "flow" and join the popular clique, losing sight of who she was. For a while, during high school, Rin's characters disappeared and laid dormant inside their eggs. But at this moment, they came out to advise, her rediscover herself and her passion for art. They didn't appear the same way that they always did in middle school, but Rin could swear she heard her Guardian characters speaking from her heart. They too also prompted her towards flirting with Hisao Aichi, an old childhood friend and aspiring young man whose Guardian character she purified. He was ambitious and obviously, he wanted to be a lawyer. However, judging from his feeble looking appearance and not-so-good grades, it seemed nearly impossible. His egg became an X-egg as a result. After Rin purified his egg and gave him a good palm to face slapping action, the two talked more and more together. His grades improved and he became more confident. Rin's creative juices were flowing and she only continued to improve. Together, they were unstoppable, and they were pursuing their lifelong objectives at a breakneck pace. Hisao moved away during high school but the two coincidentally attended the same university. Knowing him reminded Rin of her Joker days and returned her to the way she was: creative, dreamy, slightly sarcastic, but overall upbeat. Just the way Hisao loved her. After they reached their goals and got the jobs they wanted, they married and had Masami. They knew that they would raise the little girl up to be the next Joker. They didn't know why but they just felt it. Unlike Rin, Hisao never managed to have more than one Guardian egg character. His character sort of resembled a Phoenix Wright sort of character, with all the confidence he needed, while Rin's represented different forms of art she was interested in. Eventually, Hisao grew into the confidence that his Guardian had, with a bunch of helpful nudging, thank God. He and Rin attended all of elementary and middle school together, and secretly, everyone of their friends knew the two would get together, even if Rin and Hisao didn't. He was always an analytical minded person, someone interested in social justice. If he didn't love law so much, he would have been a scientist maybe. Hisao always thought that physics and chemistry were his best option when he kept forcing himself back, believing he could never be an excellent defense attorney. His Guardian character proved him wrong when he had a huge argument with a teacher about how Rin didn't have to do an art exhibit if she didn't want to. His impudence might as well have gotten him expelled but rhetoric managed to save the day. The boy was upset when he had to move, and of course, he had to admit that he too fell into a slump when he couldn't see Rin anymore. However, he got to see her during college. The two finally fell in love there, found their true selves and established a partnership again. They were inseparable. Soon after their marriage, they planned their life out, including their own daughter's life too. They wanted to make sure that Masami would live a happy life. her life before being the joker Having a somewhat sheltered life, Masami could easily get everything she needed to succeed in life, and if she truly wanted something, all she needed to do was wait for the perfect opportunity to get it. She was the only daughter of her family and thus, received a lot of attention from her elders; frequently, though, she became very lonely. She was a shy young girl who had trouble making friends.
